Thank you to all those who entered this year’s Awards Exhibition.  We had a record number of entries, which was truly amazing and we did our best to hang all the works entered, thanks to our wonderful curators Heather and Hilary Macorison.

This was probably the most successful exhibition we’ve had for many years.  Starting with the Opening Night, where Councillor Ruth Robins presented the awards in front of a crowd of family,friends and guests enjoying both the art on display as well as a glass or two.  It was a delightful evening and the beginning of a great few days.  The weather was in our favour, most of the time, bringing 650 people through the doors over the six days of the exhibition. Most of the people voted for their two favourite paintings and 17 paintings were sold.
