In this workshop you will expand your understanding of colour via the medium of soft pastels by creating an artwork from start to finish with technical instruction on how to observe forms and draw from life. Applying soft pastel techniques such as hatching, blending and gestural mark making, you will explore a full palette of colours to render structure and form through careful observation. This will be an excellent introduction to colour theory for those looking to develop transferable skills for mixing colour when painting with acrylic and oils. All levels of experience are welcome.
